Ultra Low Cost Bluetooth 5.4 Module
The BM15 module is based on Nordic’s cutting edge nRF54L15 BLE 5.4 SoC with a Cortex M33 MCU at 128 MHz and a dedicated 32-bit RISC-V at 128 MHz which manages all of the peripherals, helping offload the main CPU. Size is 10.9x15x2.0 mm. A 32 MHz, -40C to +105C, 20PPM crystal is integrated. DCDC converter Inductors and capacitors for VDD are integrated.

Excellent processing power and efficiency
The nRF54L15 SoC integrates an Arm Cortex-M33 processor running at 128 MHz, doubling the processing power of nRF52840 while reducing power consumption. It has 1.5 MB of non-volatile memory and 256 KB of RAM, more than enough for running multiple wireless protocols concurrently.
Advanced security
nRF54L15 is designed for PSA Certified Level 3, the highest PSA Certified IoT security standard level. It offers security services such as Secure Boot, Secure Firmware Update, and Secure Storage. The integrated tamper sensors can detect attacks and take appropriate action, while the cryptographic accelerators are hardened against side-channel attacks.
Best-in-class multiprotocol radio
The best-in-class multiprotocol radio provides improved robustness and longer range with up to 8 dBm TX power (with 1 dB steps) and -98 dBm RX sensitivity for 1 Mbps Bluetooth Low energy. The radio includes a new 4 Mbps data rate option for 2.4 GHz proprietary protocols, with improved throughput, efficiency, and latency. It supports Bluetooth Low Energy and all Bluetooth 5.4 features and is designed to support upcoming Bluetooth specifications. Protocols such as Bluetooth mesh, Thread, and Matter are also supported.
The radio power consumption for both TX and RX is significantly reduced compared with the nRF52 Series. For example, the radio RX current is cut in half (running from a 1.8 V DC supply) compared to nRF52840, resulting in major energy savings and enabling more compact batteries or extended battery life.
New Global RTC peripheral for prolonged battery life
The new Global RTC peripheral can wake the SoC from its deepest sleep mode, removing the need for an external RTC and significantly reducing energy consumption for applications sleeping for longer periods, enabling years of battery life.
